About this copy: This copy of Beatles Greatest is a 1976 Japanese pressing on the EMI/Odeon label.
While the album was released in Germany in 1965, this pressing is the first Japanese release.
The cover is VG+ with slight general wear on the back and slight edge and corner wear.
The obi is VG++ with slight wear at the top and bottom edges. The lyric insert is M-.
The white label promo disc is M- and may be unplayed. Clean disc!
A nice copy of a rare Beatles LP, as white label promotional copies of any of their Japanese album rarely turn up for sale.
Background: Originally released in Germany and the Netherlands in 1965, Beatles’ Greatest was one of the first compilation albums to be released by the band.
The album is noteworthy for including the “whispering” intro to “I Feel Fine” and the “hi-hat” cymbal introduction to “All My Loving.”
