Offered for sale is a Japanese pressing of the second album by Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Bachman-Turner Overdrive II, complete with obi.
The second album by Bachman-Turner Overdrive, the cleverly-named Bachman-Turner Overdrive II, was the one that finally gave the band some success. The first single, “Let It Ride,” reached #23 on the American charts and the follow-up single, “Takin’ Care of Business” reached #12. The album itself reached #4 on the American album charts.
The band didn’t sell very well in Japan, however, and Japanese pressings of early BTO albums are somewhat scarce.
About this copy: This copy of Bachman-Turner Overdrive II is an original Japanese pressing, complete with the original obi. As far as we know, this album was never reissued in Japan; the first issues are the only issues.
The cover is VG+, with wear at the edges and some foxing on the cover, though most of that discoloration is blocked by the obi.
The record is M- and appears to have had very little play. Lyric insert is missing.
A nice copy of a terrific album and the best-sounding copy of this album that we’ve ever heard.
