Offered for sale is a Japanese pressing of Brothers and Sisters by the Allman Brothers Band, including the original obi.
About this copy: This copy of Brothers and Sisters is a 1973 Japanese pressing on the Warner Brothers label. This copy is the first issue with a green obi. A second pressing with a blue obi came out shortly after.
The cover is M-. The song, “Jelly Jelly” does not appear on the cover, though the song is on the record.
The English title insert is VG++ with a few minor foxing spots. The Japanese insert is M-.
The obi is M-, with a small crease on the “hojyuhyo,” or reorder tag, which is still attached.
The disc is M- and has a couple of spindle marks on the labels, but no marks on the vinyl. Clean disc!
A beautiful copy of a terrific LP and the only first pressing we’ve ever had for sale.
Background: Released in 1973, Brothers and Sisters was the fourth studio album by the Allman Brothers Band and the first to have no involvement from Duane Allman. The album reached #1 on the U.S. album charts, helped by the single, “Ramblin’ Man.”
