About this copy: This copy of Brothers and Sisters is a 1975 Japanese second issue of an album that was originally released in 1973.

The cover is VG++, with trace wear at the edges and corners.  The English and Japanese inserts have modest foxing.

The obi is VG++, with a few minor wrinkles.  The “hojyuhyo,” or reorder tag, is still attached.

The white label promo disc is M- and looks unplayed.

A beautiful copy of a terrific LP.

Background: Released in 1973, Brothers and Sisters was the fourth studio album by the Allman Brothers Band and the first to have no involvement from Duane Allman.  The album reached #1 on the U.S. album charts, helped by the single, “Ramblin’ Man.”

Allmusic.com gave Brothers and Sisters a 4 star review:

Released a year after Eat a Peach, Brothers and Sisters shows off a leaner brand of musicianship, which, coupled with a pair of serious crowd-pleasers, “Ramblin’ Man” and “Jessica,” helped drive it to the top of the charts for a month and a half and to platinum record sales.
