Description
Offered for sale is a copy of the Japanese LP Foreigner vs. AC/DC Special DJ Copy, released in Japan only as a promotional item.
This LP features seven songs by Foreigner on side one and six songs by AC/DC on side two. Each artist is featured on one side of the cover.
About this copy: This copy of Foreigner vs. AC/DC Special DJ Copy is an original 1982 pressing on the Warner Brothers label.
This album has been counterfeited, but this is an original pressing, obtained from a reputable record dealer in Tokyo. Unlike the counterfeit copies, this one has stamped matrix numbers in the dead wax.
The cover is VG+, with light general wear.
This LP was issued without an obi or insert.
The white label promo disc is M- with a couple of very faint sleeve scuffs but no significant marks. There are no spindle marks on the labels, suggesting that the LP may have only been played once or twice, or perhaps not at all.
There are a couple of minor foxing spots on the labels.
A nice copy of a very rare AC/DC LP.
Background: Released in 1982, Foreigner vs. AC/DC Special DJ Copy was released to radio stations in Japan to promote the then-new albums Foreigner 4 by Foreigner and For Those About to Rock, We Salute You by AC/DC.
