Offered for sale is an original U.S. pressing of Nevada Jukebox, the only album by Colorado’s 60,000,000 Buffalo.

About this copy: This copy of Nevada Jukebox is an original 1972 pressing on the Atco label.

The cover is VG+, with slight wear at the edges and corners.  The cover has a small saw mark.

The disc is M- and clearly has had little play.  The side one label has some “ripples” in it, as several labels were applied to it at once during manufacture.

A nice copy of an obscure folk/rock/blues LP.

Background: Folk singer Judy Roderick had been recording without much success for about a decade before forming a rock band, 60,000,000 Buffalo.  The band was signed to a two album deal, but broke up after the release of their only album, Nevada Jukebox.

The album was produced by Bill Szymczyk, who had success producing the James Gang and the Eagles. gave Nevada Jukebox a 4 star review:

60,000,000 Buffalo were the rock and roll manifestation of Judy Roderick. This album was the first recording of songs from the Judy Roderick/Bill Ashford catalog. The album was recorded over a period of five days at the legendary Record Plant West, in September, 1971. Raw around the edges it was produced “live” with minimal overdubbing by not yet, but soon to be famous producer Bill Szymczyk. Good songs, played and sung with passion.
