A sealed yellow vinyl pressing of Steely Dan's Greatest Hits, issued in Canada.
Offered for sale is a still sealed yellow vinyl copy of the 1978 2 LP set, Greatest Hits by Steely Dan.
Steely Dan’s Greatest Hits was released in 1979, and offered material from their first six albums, as well as the then-new single “Here at the Western World.” Greatest hits LPs aren’t usually on most people’s radar, as they don’t always sound that great, but this album is an exception.
Greatest Hits was mastered using original tapes, rather than copies of copies, and in the case of Steely Dan, the original master tapes from their 1970s albums were lost or accidentally destroyed in the mid-1980s. As such, Greatest Hits is a pretty nice album to have in your collection, as it does sound terrific.
About this copy: This copy of Steely Dan’s Greatest Hits is a limited edition yellow vinyl pressing from Canada, issued in 1978 or 1979. The two record set is presumably new and unplayed.
The shrink wrap is fully intact, and has no rips, tears or cuts, and there are no saw marks, cut corners or punch holes. The wrap has a hype sticker indicating that it is a colored vinyl pressing, and it says so in both English and French, but it does not specify the color of the vinyl (they were all yellow.)
A terrific copy of a terrific album, and the nicest copy of this yellow vinyl copy you’re ever likely to find.
