A 12" single of Roy Orbison's Pretty Woman, pressed by Classic Records on Clarity Vinyl at both 33 and 45 RPM speeds
Offered for sale is a copy of a limited edition 12″ single of Roy Orbison’s Pretty Woman with one side of the disc cut at 33 1/3 RPM and the other side cut at 45 RPM. This was pressed by Classic Records on their proprietary Clarity SV-P II vinyl.
Classic Records didn’t press a lot of singles, but they did release a few for comparison purposes. This one has two versions of Roy Orbison’s 1964 hit Pretty Woman, one at 33 1/3 RPM and one at 45 RPM. This limited edition single was pressed on Classic’s Clarity SV-P II vinyl, which was somewhat clear in color and had no blackening agents added to it, which can sometimes cause magnetic distortions in the sound.
The record was issued in a plain white jacket with a title sticker. Condition of the cover and record are M-. A beautiful pressing of a rock classic.
